The truth is, I started this blog because of the number of weekly requests I had for new music recommendations. I decided to export my valued opinion in an efficient manner – where it could reach all my friends at once. This project turned into a collaborated effort between me and my brother who I could not do this without.

We are Larissa Woskob and George Woskob and we are going to school in Baltimore and Chicago respectively. Our aim is to create awareness about good music through a bit of what some call gonzo journalism. It’s true, our news is presented through our own lens. But how else are you, as a reader, going to know why we listen to the music we do. And we’d like to believe narrative makes our blog more fun to read.

Aside from assisting our friends, this blog is also our way of putting the time we spent as little children slaving over classical instruments and radiohead covers to good use. George is a recording artist and I spend too much time procrastinating on music blogs and attending shows. We believe we have something to bring to the music world.

Misleading blogs and bad bands are abundant and we cut through the dross to bring you what’s actually hip, hop, and happening. So sit back, relax, and let us bring you the best of the best of the best on a silver platter.
